Your Learn Spanish corporate tutor
Learn Spanish corporate classes are taught by Carmen
Brown. Carmen has a teaching degree from Chile and since coming
to New Zealand 25 years ago has focussed on providing Spanish
classes for adults. Not happy with other commercially available
Spanish courses, she has developed her own teaching materials
and teaches using Accelerated Learning principles.
Your Learn Spanish corporate course materials
Learn Spanish lessons are based around a stimulating
and amusing Spanish story developed specially for these courses.
Students read and listen to the story in several different formats,
including an acted out “radio play” and cartoons,
then are lead through a series of exercises and activities based
on the events, vocabulary and language structures used in the
story.

Your Learn Spanish class activities
All activities are carefully structured to build on and
reinforce what has already been learnt. Initially new vocabulary
passively learnt from the various presentations of the story
is actively incorporated through repetition and practical
exercises. Subsequent activities then extend on this knowledge
to develop further active language skills. Our activities
include:
- reading aloud & repetition to hone pronunciation
and learn and reinforce vocabulary
- role plays using scenes and language from the story
- question & answer conversations using examples from
the story
- games to reinforce vocab and structures
- written exercises
- puzzles
