Legal translation work is a specialised field, one requiring
expertise and skills normally beyond 'general purpose' translators.
Pacific International Translations is fortunate to have available
excellent legal translators in most major languages, both qualified
English speaking and foreign language lawyers, and professionally
qualified translators who have developed their expertise in
legal translation over many years.
Our translation processes also include a second translator
check of all legal translations before dispatch. As much as
anything this is a safety check, just to make absolutely sure
the translation is completely accurate, and to provide a second
pair of eyes to pick up any of those little "human errors"
that are so easy to miss but which, though apparently minor,
may have more significant implications.
Where a full translation of a legal document is not necessary or warranted, we are able to provide a selective or occasionally a summary translation. The former involves the translation of selected sections of the document, either identified directly by our client or by our translators from criteria the client provides.
