Corporate Courses
Corporate language courses, designed specifically for executives and businesses, are conducted by Flamingo Language Services, a division of Pacific International Translations in Auckland.
Flamingo Language Services will happily structure a course for
as long, or short a period as our client requires. However we
generally recommend a 30 hour course for those at beginners
or near beginners level. 30 hours is sufficiently long to ensure
genuine achievement in the language, but generally not too long
a commitment for the busy businessperson.
Corporate 30 hour Language Courses (most Asian
& European languages)
Aim: To equip you with basic language skills and give you a broad understanding of culture and business etiquette to enable you to deal successfully with people in both business and social environments.
Whilst focussed primarily on language learning, the course includes
cultural aspects vital to understanding how people act, and
why, in the target culture. These aspects are given greater
weighting in those languages where the culture and business
etiquette is markedly different to Anglo-Saxon norms.

Course Content: Varies from language to language.
However most languages include introductions, greetings, courtesy
words, pronunciation and the alphabet, numbers, time, money,
business and social etiquette, and some do’s and don’ts
in business situations.
Cost: $2,700 + GST, irrespective of student numbers. Materials, generally one per person, are additional (price varies depending on language).
Remember: The course cost is the same whether for a single student
or a group.
