For many years Flamingo Language Services, now a division of
Pacific International Translations, has provided bilingual tour
guides to inbound tour operators and corporate clients in New
Zealand.
Assignments range from simple meet and greets right through
to full North and South Island tours of 3 to 4 weeks, and from
individual FITs to 30 – 40 PAX groups.
Several excellent guides are available in the most frequent tour languages, and we also provide guides in lesser demand languages, both Asian and European.

High Calibre Personnel
Because of our associated translation, interpreting and language tuition activities we have an extensive database of experienced and qualified personnel covering more than 80 languages. This enables us to identify and train potential guides in even the most infrequent visitor languages.
Ongoing Training
New and potential guides receive comprehensive training and are also fully tested on their English and foreign language abilities. Regular, ongoing training programmes are also held for experienced guides.
